Radio Account Executive


Contacts prospective customers to sell radio time for broadcasting on station(s) by performing the following duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Calls on prospects and presents outlines of various programs or commercial announcements.

Persuades customers to purchase radio time by presenting information on various programs that will draw customers to their businesses.

Arranges for and accompanies prospect to commercial taping sessions.

Prepares promotional plans, sales proposals, production orders, scripts, and sales contracts.

Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts and owners of businesses.

Works with members of other sales staffs to produce the maximum revenue opportunity for HomeSlice and the client.

Be able to complete all paperwork accurately and timely.

Investigates and resolves customer problems with schedules, promotions and invoices.

Attends sales training meetings, promotional meetings, and trade shows.

Sales and marketing degree preferred or equivalent. At a minimum two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of the two.


Ability to read, write and speak English. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively and tactfully present information to clients and prospective clients.


Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages and other general mathematical principles.


Ability to resolve practical problems and deal with variety of concrete variables.
