(Rapid City, SD) – HomeSlice Artist Management Vice President, Shane Funk, announced this morning that the firm has signed Blacklite District to its roster.
Blacklite District is the musical pseudonym of singer/songwriter Kyle Pfeiffer, a Spearfish native, but known all over the streaming world. Blacklite District has a loyal digital following, closing in on 200,000 YouTube subscribers, over 200k+ monthly listeners on Spotify, and has amassed nearly 500 million streams since 2017. “Kyle has an organic digital footprint most artists will never achieve and he’s done this mostly by himself,” says Chris Hornick, Vice President of Digital Media.
Blacklite District released his latest full length album ,“1990”, at the beginning of the year. The lead single “Gotta Get Outta Here” has spent five weeks in the Billboard Mainstream Rock Top 40, and just broke into the Mediabase Active Rock Top 40 after being picked up by SiriusXM Octane, and many major market stations across the country. Blacklite District broke onto the national rock scene with 2014’s “With Me Now” (No. 34 Billboard Mainstream Rock), and gained worldwide attention with 2017’s “Cold As Ice” (No. 35 Billboard), which went on to reach over 100 million views across YouTube and sparked the growth of Pfeiffer’s massive online fanbase.
“I’m excited to team up with The HomeSlice Group to start the next chapter of my career.”
“With Blacklite’s presence on radio, streaming, and satellite it’s going to be exciting putting together shows and full tours.” Shane Funk, VP of Artist Management.
