Mountain West® Beer Fest is more than just South Dakota’s largest beer festival. It’s the result of full-scale creative execution. From concept development and event planning to branding, design, photography, video production, radio, and audio advertising, each element works together to build anticipation, drive attendance, and elevate the overall experience. The result is a cohesive and recognizable festival identity that resonates across South Dakota and beyond.
Because Mountain West® Beer Fest is a HomeSlice original event, we have the creative freedom to shape it from the ground up. That means producing playful videos, bold campaigns, and unconventional marketing strategies we can experiment with in real time. It’s a unique opportunity to push creative boundaries, test new ideas, and have fun while discovering what truly resonates.
BEER BOY
Beer Fest gave us the perfect opportunity to bring something we’d always wanted to create to life—a mascot. Beer Boy made his bubbly debut in 2023, and since then, we’ve had a blast building out his personality, presence, and role within the festival experience. He’s made his way into nearly all of our promotional content and even onto merchandise designs (all made in house), becoming a recognizable and fun part of the brand.
CREATING THE
PERFECT POUR
Beer Fest is about more than just the beer (yes—even all 200+ of them). It’s about creating a full experience from the moment guests walk in. To bring that to life, we designed interactive games and high-energy hotspots throughout the event. From our in-house built human foosball table to a human slot machine, human-sized cornhole, and giant beer pong, every element is crafted to keep people engaged, entertained, and making memories all day long.
